Following Users on Other Nodes

Following Someone on Another Synapsis Node

To follow a user on a different Synapsis node, use the Explore / Search feature. Enter their full handle in the format:

@username@other-node.com

Synapsis will discover their profile via the Swarm and send a follow request directly to their node.

What Happens When You Follow

1. Your node sends a follow request to their node via the Swarm
2. Their node records you as a follower
3. Their posts start appearing in your home timeline
4. You can interact with their posts (like, repost, reply) instantly

Viewing Remote Profiles

Click on any user from another Synapsis node to see their full profile — avatar, header, bio, follower counts, and all their posts. The Swarm fetches this data in real-time, so you always see the latest information.
